DAY TWO thereto (vancouver); DAY THREE up the tree

DAY TWO DAY TWO

I seriously forgot what I did that day, if not for the pictures. I think I really need to go develop themmm! And not to mention my parents are still waiting to see what I did in that faraway land all by myself and of course with the pau and char! OH MAN! My pockets!

UBC's Thunderbird Arena and for the record, we stayed at Chris's at the Thunderbird Crescent.

Photos taken outside one of the venues for Winter Olympics 2010

Dimsum brunch at Richmond

Telus Science Worlddddddddddd - DINOSAUR FOSSILS & some others

You really gotta check out the dino fossils. For a few moments I got quite freaked out! I couldn't quite imagine that these creatures actually existed because I remember when I was young, I thought dinosaurs were the characters in Enid Blyton's books. But of course I knew they're real and existed when I got older. Looking at these fossils was just, I don't know, AMAZING or maybe FREAKY. I was actually quite scared.

More set-ups at the Science World, like our Science Centre.

Gastown - The Old Spaghetti Factory

Gastown is like one of the historical districts in downtown. The Hobo Streets, East Hastings, is nearby. The Hobo street is like one of the most dangerous places in Vancouver and as you can see, we were there when the sky was getting dark, so it wasn't really safe to go wandering around the area. But according to the Vancouver-lover, she says that the hobos roll down some slope in trolleys like what you use to put your groceries in in NTUC. Sounded cool to me actually. And oh yes, Chris calls me a HOBO; after looking at my most unglam moments, maybe? But I remember Felily called me a construction worker when I was in China doing my OCIP. I think it's my blue jacket...

Gastown - The Irish Heather GastroPub

The place where someone emo-ed and took a seat away from the rest of the people. HAHA! Guess who?

UBC in the night

One taken on the way home and the other taken from pau's thunderbird crescent window. Up till day 2, I was still loving the snow. Actually that was the first time I saw snow falling; not fallen.

DAY THREE. DAY THREE.

To Place Vanier to get the Felicia Chocolate Bush Berries Chong although the night before was kind of like a nightmare since she and her brother were totally un-contactable. It was still snowing from last night when we were at Gastown!

CRAVE for quality brunch with Chris' friends, Daniel and James, again!

Snow fights while waiting for the bus that came more than an hour later. That's how horrifying the public transport is during snow. I hate trolley buses. So much for being environmentally friendly. But the snow was really pretty!

While waiting for Felicia's brother to come along at Downtown!

My favourite shot! Charlene in the Japanese supermarket!

Good ramen dinner at Kintaro. Cheap (relatively) and good. Plus some touristy pictures. 449 days to Vancouver's Winter Olympics 2010!

Xbox at James' place, my unglam photo and Charlene's never-ending laundry!
