Day 4 - To Whistler
Although we woke up kind of late, being the greedy us, we still made it for brunch at this place with loads of knick knacks on their walls. And you can see char and I were cranky that morning.
Finally a nice bed and good tv for char and I at Whistler's Delta Suites. And this was just one small part of the suite. It was SOOOO big. I wished I live there all my life. It was small but sufficient. Plus the cool weather and scenery outside. Did I tell you how much I like Whistler?
Oh, we were not allowed to laugh nor talk at pau's thunderbird so we really loved Whistler. Char and I received more than a million stares from the fierce pau but I am still very grateful to pau's thunderbird. It was a cosy place that was offered to me FOC. I need to thank pau.
The freezy whistler night that we weren't too prepared for. We were freezing, or rather, we were frozen. The howling winds were no joke. But there is always time for photos. Just that they didn't turn out too nice. Ahhhh! Whatever, I still loveeee Whistler!
Day 2 at Whistler - let's go zipping
The skiing kids early in the morning. I was barely awake!
(The bed at delta was too comfortable...)
Off we go zipping!
One of the very trustworthy ziptrek guys, and the family we were zipping with!
Did I tell anyone that I burnt one of my gloves while doing this? Because it was so cold, to feel the heat, I TOUCHED that burning thing without even knowing.
Post adrenaline rush syndromes at lunch
My favourite photo with the bear outside a chocolate shop. I lost my burnt glove there.
Oh, we cooked in the suite for dinner because we wanted to be budget since Whistler is like some touristy place for winter sports and will be the official venue for 2010 winter olympics.
Anyway for the record, we set off the smoke alarm and kind of spoilt the dish washer. The smoke alarm just kept on ringing and dish washer just kept on bubbling. One had to stand on a chair and fan that bloody smoke detector while the rest used probably more than 10 towels to soak up all those bubbles. It was totally not funny at that time but now I think it is really hilarious. But dinner was especially yummy after all that hardwork. (Too busy for photos)
DAY 3 at Whistlerrrr - snowmobiling, yea..
The snowmobile was funnnnn like anything. Like daytona, motorbike style. Just that I was damn scared before that but was later convinced that it is easier than zipping upside down. HAHA! Anyway, Chris was funnier than funny while snowmobiling. She totally cmi.
Then, we left Whistler and I was HOW SADDD.
So we stuffed ourself silly at Ah Yat (Grand Honour) Steamboat. It was snowing so badly outside and Ah Yat refused to switch on their heater so I was really freezing inside. Anyone tried wearing the crazy jacket while eating steamboat? I did!
Back to thunderbird and you can see how much we missed Whistler. HAHA! Just kidding. We love thunderbird, lah!
//i am going to keep on whistling to remind myself of whistler
