what is mine is mine

When I woke up in the morning, the thing that struck me was: Oh dear! I'm late for Happy Feet! I've watched Happy Feet long ago but such things keep coming to me. Just like I suddenly thought of " What is mine is mine, and what is yours is also mine." That was on my netball shirt in sec 1. I wonder what were we (actually the seniors only) thinking but it was a very KC thing to do... And so I've been chanting it for the whole morning, from home to NTUC and back. It's just plain cool, at least that's what I think!

I finished My Sister's Keeper yesterday and I was feeling so emotional the whole time. Sometimes I wish I have some magic powers when I see my mother's hands cracking, my sister's pathetic wound looking like a volcano eruption, and stuff like that. Sometimes I try to be Matilda, the girl who could control things using her eyes. But obviously it doesn't work, but I still hang on to the belief that one day it might just work. Like the BFG, I think he exists just that we never ever got to see him because we are in Singapore. I bet he is in Belgium, or maybe Canada, or Denmark.

You know sometimes when I have some big wound, like my sister's, I worry if it will actually heal because you'll never know if one day your body might just refuse to work! Like how those riots start in other countries, not Singapore though because the LAW is bigger. But in our bodies, I don't think there is any law that rules our body. It is just the organs' goodwill to perform their tasks. So how would we know if our wound would actually heal?

That's why I say I want magic powers la!
I'm afraid someday everything might just stop, then what are we going to do?
