knit

Again, I'm up to no good at 1am on a thursday. I suddenly want to learn knitting. I don't know why and how on earth I got that idea! It just struck me. I know that is the weirdest idea for someone who cannot sit still and cannot be demure, or at least act like it, but hey! I suddenly feel like knitting. Okay, I know there should not be any stereotype about knitting being associated with demure girls and nimble hands, but I can't help it! To me, knitting is like a grandmother sport!

Anyway, have you received any "homemade" knitted sweater or scarf or just anything knitted by your mother or grandmother or even grandfathers (I shouldn't stereotype!)? I haven't. Or rather I don't think I'll ever receive one. As though my mother isn't tired enough dealing with all the boring housework and ntuc-ing! So am I that deprived? Am I alone?
That can probably explain why I suddenly feel like knitting. Maybe? I actually google-d 'how to knit'! I was just looking at all the complicated descriptions and I think I am giving up, like organic farming. (But I can't have a farm because I have no land!) Maybe I should try knitting instead of being such a grumpy old woman.
