the 1730 hour

like pau said, I "forever 530". Yes, that's true.

I haven't been smelling or drinking any polluted air, if not for the 5 to 10 minutes walk to and fro tuition. Oh, not forgetting the grocery shopping time too. The air at home has been great, especially with the new electricity-operated air purifier/freshener. My whole house, also known as my palace, is smelling of green apples. Sometimes it gets so strong that I think I'm living right in the middle of some apple orchard. Although my mother bought some few boxes of smelly nonsense to ward off insects and lizards from the lifestyle fair held at Suntec while we were buying the very fast laser printer that day, the smell hasn't been haunting me much, unless I walk towards my father's toilet (yucks!), thanks to the very nice machine sitting beside the television.

As much as the earth is warming up, we are still using the snow-making machines like electricity is free. I live in a house where lights must be on wherever we go. And we do not switch them off even if the room is left empty. There is no dark spot in the family, not even for 1 second under normal operations. Like for now, the kitchen, toilet, storeroom and also my brother's room are very bright. The lamp near the door is also on 24/7. My father believes that the burglars would not dare to break into the house when there's light in the house. But I also believe that a house should be filled with laughters, apparently my father thinks that we (my sister and I) sound like shrieking ghosts. Anyway, the snow-making machines seem to be going on a strike. Is it global warming or this is the summer season of Singapore?

Although just yesterday I said I'm pissed off at colorgenics, I listened to their advice and tried to be nicer. Indeed, the sun is smiling more brightly. Thanks to colorgenics! No, thanks to Mahen for keeping all his favourite toys in the mini refrigerator. My mother and I thought Mahen finally learnt to keep his toys. CHEAH! I think it's the zillionth time I cheah-ed today. So many times I thought the cup was half-full, but it was all half-empty. Who am I trying to kid?

//I forever 530 because my tuition ends at 530pm for the next few mondays and wednesdays. soh-lee!
