kinda thing because I'm thinking of silly unimportant issues. I'm thinking of the credit card points we can earn from using the credit card, which will give us some Crystal Jade vouchers to redeem for more Xiaolongbaos and lamian, etc., but then my father will have to go down and sign some indemnity form which is kind of troublesome. BUT this might not be too troublesome if we continue with our tennis stint every friday at Terminal 2. We can just drop by the counter to get it signed and stuff before the back-breaking picking up of tennis balls after a few whacks of the tennis racquet. GRAH! Difficult stufff.OH, I haven't decided when is the best time to leave Singapore. 15th or 18th? I can't decide!
ANDD that aside, the worldly issues...
The Beijing 2008 Olympics started a few days ago on 08082008 at 20:08. The opening ceremony was amazing, nevertheless. True enough, like what Ferly said, we should just cheer for the sportsmanship and put all the political issues aside. Watching the swimmers, gymnastics, basketballers, weight-lifters, etc., was just so totally amazing. They were so good, so elegant in different ways. Cheer for them man. Who cares if you are at home! Really, just clap and cheer and whistle and shout! I bet they can feel your presence. They can! Trust me!
Singapore's 43rd National Day Parade the day after was good also even though it's less grand compared to the Olympics Opening Ceremony. (The Chinese spents 4 billion alrights!) I love being patriotic. I love Singapore, seriously. I think I should buy a Singapore shirt and wear it in Canada. What do you think? HAHA!
As usual, the NDP was good. I love the march-in and duh, the
I secretly think that it was drizzling for a bit at the start because the sky thought that too little people were wearing the colour red this year, so it rained a bit so that everyone would wear the red poncho to make the grandstand really grand and patriotic. I love Singapore, BIG TIME.
